This is my first time received invitation to a media trip to discover, and enjoy within the 130 million years old virgin rainforest, such amazing beautiful nature; At the same time, I can release my stress by escaping myself far away from the busy town.
"Taman Negara National Park is the perfect place for travelers who love wildlife viewing, jungle trekking, hiking, rock climbing, fishing, camping and many more. It is well established as one of the most popular Eco Tourism in Malaysia. Every year Taman Negara attracts thousands of local and international travelers. It has a tropical, humid climate with temperatures averaging 86°F (30°C). It is open throughout the year."

Let’s explore the truly tropical life in Taman Negara National Park, Pahang!
Day 01 (01 January 2016):
I was so excited to visit Taman Negara, and at the same time, I was so nervous because I do not know anyone on this trip, but I met this lovely lady sit right next to me, her name is Iena, she is a blogger as well.
It's been years, I didn't take the bus to travel around. This trip, from Kuala Lumpur to Tembeling Jetty, we need to take a 3 hour bus.
The first exciting part of day one is we need to reach the jetty by crossing
Yes! This is our boat. Why they didn't use a fancy speed boat? Let me explain to you:
They want you to experience how the
My view of the boat (click on the pic for bigger view)
It's raining, and the water keeps splashing on my face
We are finally here ^_^ At Taman Negara, we checked into the resort. Took a rest, and dinner, we started with our first activity - Night Jungkle Walk.
Additional history:
"During 04 January 1971, there was a huge flood, and the water level was 74 meter."
I met this adorable Tapir, please don't go in front of them, or don't touch them for too long, they will get frustrated and start to attack people.
We are advanced, not to make touch anything during the walk, no touching at the tree, nor the leaves. Not to make noise, and focus on our walkway. Oh ~ You need to bring your own touch light for this activity.
Night jungle walk, but it's not just a walk, what else? Check it out at the images below:
This spider is known as Kingsman
We come to explore, and try our luck, what can we find in Taman Negara, not only insects, we get to see animals during the night time.
Beetle
Stick Bug
Different species of Stick Bug
Termites
Cicada
And many other more, come and discover by yourself,
It will be more fun!
Beside insects, I also get to see 2 dears from far, I don't have a clear image for that, due to the place it's too dark, and you can't keep pointing your torch lights on them, that will scare them away, they prefer to be in the dark.
This is my first day in Taman Negara, and we get back to resort and have a good rest for more exciting activities.
Please do bear with me, Taman Negara National Park, Pahang (Day 2) will be posted by next week ^_^
Thanks a lot to Malaysia Tourist Malaysia

ReplyDeleteMaybe you can try the orang asli village next time. When I went last year we got to learn how to make fire the traditional orang asli way and tried shooting using the sumpit made from forest bamboo. When we're done we went plunging into the river nearby like buffaloes. Absolutely amazing.
